Frequently Asked Questions

Q:Can you remake my Grandma's pie?
A:

Well, if you have her recipe, of course! We will try to bake just as much love into it as she did. But, if you don't have her recipe, we will try to get our version of the pie as close to it as possible.

Q:What is the best way to warm up a pie?
A:

Since you will want to keep your pie refrigerated so it will last longer, we recommend reheating by warming the pie in your oven at 350 degrees until it reaches desired temperature. If you are in a hurry, a quick minute in the microwave would also work, but that could make the filling run.

Q:What is the shelf life of your pies?
A:

As is the case with most homemade products, the sooner you eat them, the better. But, if you keep them refrigerated, our pies will last anywhere from 5 to 7 days depending on the filling.

Q:Can I freeze your pie?
A:

Yes, you can freeze it, but it will not taste nearly as fresh when you reheat it.

Q:Do you ship your pies?
A:

At this time, we do not currently ship our pies or tarts. We wholeheartedly believe in supporting local business, so recommend looking up a local pie lady in your area. We have a lot of suggestions if you can't find one!

Q:Where can I pick up my pies?
A:

We arrange for local pick-up/drop-off within the Dallas area. Since we are currently renting space to make your order, pick up locations can vary.

Q:Where is your store?
A:

We currently do not have a store, but hopefully a local Pie Flutin' Pastries shop will be hitting Dallas neighborhoods soon.
